Plugins are the silent heroes of WordPress, whether it’s a back up plugin quietly ensuring your data is never lost, a security plugin that keeps your site safe or a social media plugin that helps your business’ content reach a wider audience, we don’t believe there’s a WordPress website in existence that isn’t enhanced by at least one plugin…though it’s more likely to be five or ten!
Torque are running Plugin Madness 2018 to shine some light on the web’s best plugins and we urge all of you reading this to get involved and nominate your favourite plugins before the deadline on February 23rd.
You can nominate your most used and best loved plugins across four categories:
- eCommerce
- Maintenance
- Marketing
- Optimisation
Talk to your team about the elements of your website that make their job easier and make your customers shout about you from the rooftops, or even get in touch with your WordPress agency to find out exactly what functionality plugins are responsible for on your site – it’s entirely probable that they’re performing so seamlessly you might not even realise you’re using them. Once you’ve ascertained your favourites simply head over to the Plugin Madness nomination page and leave the plugin name, URL and type – it’ll take you less than the time it takes for the kettle to finish boiling.
Finalists will be announced at the end of the month, before a bracket-style vote off happens throughout March – we can’t wait to see which plugins make the cut!
