At the end of 2018 we saw a landmark WordPress release in version 5.0, which saw the debut of Gutenberg, a brand new drag and drop page builder. Since the release of 5.0 users have been getting to grips with using Gutenberg on desktop but now it’s time for Gutenberg to go mobile.
Gutenberg is now in beta testing on mobile apps, with its inclusion planned in WordPress’ upcoming mobile release on March 11th.
The mobile version of Gutenberg features similar functionality to the desktop version but features a stripped back design so only the most commonly used blocks and simple block settings will be present.
