At the beginning of the month we saw the release of Jetpack 5.2, the latest version of the wonder plugin that provides WordPress users with a suite of features from security to stats.
This new version brings with it a number of changes and tweaks, including performance improvements that increase stability and have resolved pesky bugs, and an improved experience to help new users get to grips with the plugin and activate the features that they are most likely to benefit from.
The major change is the new contact form, which was already one of their most popular free features and it set to become even more beloved after the whole process was streamlined for 5.2.
As you can see from the image above (from jetpack.com), when you want to create a new contact form for your site you can set it up right there in the text editor. It’s now easier than ever to add custom fields, rearrange fields by dragging and dropping, create email subject lines, and add and remove recipients.
