The latest WordPress version, 4.7.4 , arrived late last month and brought with it a list of forty seven maintenance fixes and enhancements.
As this is a maintenance release there are no new features to explore but many small issues and bugs have been resolved, with the main fix focusing on the incompatibility issue between the upcoming Chrome update and the WordPress visual editor. There have also been further improvements made to the REST API and minor inconsistencies in media handling have also been resolved.
For those who want to delve under the hood, a full list of all changes has been released.
The update is available now so make sure you head to your Dashboard to update as soon as possible. Those whose sites support automatic updates should already have noticed that they’re running the latest version.
