Alignable’s latest SMB Trust Index was released a couple of weeks ago and we were thrilled to see WordPress topping the charts as the most trusted brand for small businesses. WordPress received an impressive NPS score of 50 and Alignable had the following to say about the CMS giant:
‘SMBs love this free, online, self-hosted tool for creating and maintaining websites and blogs.’
Taking the other two podium places were Mailchimp and Google, who both received a score of 46. It was interesting to note that technology companies dominated the Q2 2016 list, with the email marketing, digital marketing, ecommerce, CRM, social marketing and website brands all falling into the positive categories. On the other side of the fence, crowdfunding and reward brands didn’t score quite so well and came in with negative scores.
Running a small business is both a stressful and rewarding experience and your deep personal involvement in your brand means it’s imperative to have a host of trustworthy, reliable services at your fingertips – whether it’s for web design, email hosting or accountancy. Guides like Alignable’s SMB Trust Index are a fantastic way for small business owners to both share their experiences and get valuable insight into the experiences their fellow entrepreneurs have had with hundreds of brands across a wide range of industries.
To see WordPress coming in at number one is a wonderful achievement for the CMS and just goes to show that 2016 is shaping up to be another stellar year for everybody who helps make WordPress a reality.
